Instructor: Cat Rambo

The class is next offered on Saturday, January 7, 2023, 1-3 PM Pacific time.

A compressed version of the six-week workshop, this single-session class gives you all the tools you need to start writing and sending out your own stories. We cover story structure, character-building, worldbuilding, plotting, and submitting the stories you’ve written. You will do some writing exercises in class, but most of the time will be spent on lecture and discussion. You should emerge from the class with a greater command of storywriting as well as a hearty store of encouragement and motivation for creating new stories.

Classes are taught online and require reliable Internet connection, although in the past participants have logged on from coffee shops, cafes, and even an airplane; a webcam is suggested but not required. They are recorded for the benefit of class members only.

Cost is $99/$79 for returning students, which includes classes/workshops with me in other venues, such as conference or convention workshops and mentoring sessions)/and free to Cat’s Patreon supporters.

To register for this class, send an email with the following details:

  • Which class or classes and the dates you would like to register
  • Whether you would prefer to pay via Paypal, Venmo, or some other means.
  • Whether or not you are a former student or Patreon supporter
  • How you heard about Cat’s classes

You will be invoiced when the class slot is reserved.

Important! Remember every class has several Plunkett scholarships for students who could not otherwise afford the cost. To apply for a Plunkett, mail me and tell me why you want to take the class in 100 words or less.
