In Flagrante Delicto: Writing Effective Sex Scenes

In Flagrante Delicto: Writing Effective Sex Scenes

Instructor: Catherine Lundoff

The next class date is Sunday, February 12, 2023, 1-3 PM Pacific time.

Tired of fading to black every time your characters get intimate? Not quite sure what to do once they’re in the clinch? Want characters whose romantic moments have some spark, sizzle, and steam to them? Learn some of the building blocks for writing about sex and writing it well.

Join Catherine Lundoff for a workshop in which she takes you through some basic techniques for making sex and character intimacy as integral a part of your character’s adventures as meeting with dragons.

Free scholarships: If you cannot afford a class but really want to take one, apply for a Plunkett Scholarship. Each class has three slots reserved for such students, and the sole criteria is only that you can’t currently afford the class. To apply, mail me with your name, the class name/date, and a brief statement about why you want to take the class. QUILTBAG and PoC candidates are especially encouraged to apply. The Plunkett Scholarships are named for Edward Plunkett, who wrote as Lord Dunsany. Scholarships are given out on a rolling basis; I suggest getting them in sooner rather than later. You may apply for multiple classes.
