Journaling for Creativity with Fran Wilde
January 5 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am PST
Where do you keep and grow your ideas? How do you keep them coming while not getting overwhelmed by the mass of them? What do you do with the ones that come around only when you’re working on something else?
We’ll talk tricks and tools of the trade for using journals (bullet and otherwise) as well as online task trackers and email to keep your ideas corralled and findable later.
Then we’ll look at methods for brainstorming a batch of stories and expanding those into broader creative pages, and from there into story drafts.
Suggested supplies: A bound journal (plain or dotted works best for me, your preference), several different colored pens, colored pencils, tape, stickers, as needed.
Join Norton Award winning author Fran Wilde, author of Updraft, Cloudbound, and The Jewel and Her Lapidary for a workshop that will energize your creativity and get you writing!
Fair warning from Fran: My friend Tempest saw my story journal and that I was thinking about teaching this class and said MAKE IT SO and then disappeared in a cloud of glitter and swooshy capes.
Join Fran for an online workshop in which she gives you how to journal for creativity. Limited enrollment (15); scholarships available.
See class details here for more information and to enroll.
