Pick The Title of My First Clarion West Write-a-thon Story

Glass flowers in downtown Seattle

These glass flowers were along the sidewalk as I followed the Seattle monorail.

I’m participating in this year’s Clarion West Write-a-thon and one of the things I’m going to do this year is make it a bit more interactive. So I invite readers to a) vote for your favorite title and b) sponsor me (or some other fine writer!) in the Write-a-thon. You don’t have be sponsoring anyone to vote on a title. :)

Should you choose to sponsor me, you will be receiving a weekly e-mail with the results of that week’s writing in it!

I’ve talked about the importance of titles elsewhere, and I’m practicing a technique discussed in there, using a song title. These are all Elvis Costello tunes. You can vote once per day until the 18th, when I’ll start writing.

  1. Blaze Ward says:

Obviously and by far the best title is How Deep Is Red especially since the story should include me.

*this post purposefully does not include commas – instead choosing to provide them as a post script for the amusement of any reader who wants to play with them artistically and litter them willy-nilly throughout the original comment. Surplus commas below:
